diazoxide

Contraindication/Precautions

Contraindicated in:

• Hypersensitivity

• Hypersensitivity to bisulfites (IV only). Cross-sensitivity with sulfonamides may occur

• Hypertension associated with pheochromocytoma or aortic dissection

Use Cautiously in:

• Diabetics (hyperglycemia accompanies use)

• Cardiovascular disease

• Renal or hepatic impairment

• OB: Lactation: Pregnancy and lactation (safety not established; may inhibit labor)
