• Cimetidine may ↓ metabolism

• Phenobarbital and rifampin ↑ metabolism and may ↓ effectiveness

• Metronidazole ↑ the effects of phenytoin, lithium, and warfarin

• Disulfiram-like reaction may occur with alcohol ingestion

• May cause acute psychosis and confusion with disulfiram

• ↑ risk of leukopenia with fluorouracil or azathioprine
